Lenox Crew
Power 10

Head of the Fish

Sunday October 31st

Here is a link to regatta centrals listing of race times. We are in the following races: 92, 103, 117. You can select Lenox Crew from the drop down list at the top of the race list to see just our events.

The bus will leave the school parking lot at 5am sharp so be there at 4:45am. Anyone not there on time will be left behind.

Our weather so far this season has been great and it could be nice for the Fish as well. However, the past few years the weather has been terrible on race day so please watch the weather reports. There were a number of reported cases of hypothermia last year (not on our team) so please watch the weather and come prepared. Have plenty of extra dry warm clothes (wool socks), boots, and rain gear. Last year it was so wet a lot of rowers bags, and spare dry clothes, got soaked. To prevent that pack your clothes in a trash bag inside you travel bag. If we all come prepared for armageddon then we will be guaranteed a beautiful day.

Details:
Saturday Practice Rowers: Rowers should be at the water by 2:30 p.m. - call Joan's cell phone (413-242-4001) on Saturday to find out where the trailer is. Head of the Fish Website

Head of the Fish Directions (please note if you click on their map the actual race site is on the other side to the water from the address marker, in "Lee's trailer park". According to their website the bridge across the water is down to one lane. There have also been reports that it is closed so plan a little extra time and be prepared to go around.)

This race is much bigger then any others we've done this year and while there is some parking at the site you may be forced to park in a remote lot and take a shuttle bus to the race site. Check their website for details.

Just kidding
This picture was obviously not taken at the fish ...
