Head of the Hudson

We won't bring the grill to this race but would appreciate it if parents brought/sent potluck food for the racers during the day. Breakfast food for the early bus ride and lunch items would be appreciated.

Suggestions: muffins/fruit/water (small bottles or gallon jugs)/cheese/crackers/bagels/cream cheese/hot choc/lunch stuff.

Directions
This race location is under/next to the 787 overpass just south of route 90 in Albany. In the event of bad weather there is protection under the overpass, which is where the boat trailer and equipment is usually parked. Most of the area is paved including a nice biking/walking path that runs alonside the river. There are port-o-potties available. On nice days suncreen is a good idea especially with kids out on the water for extended periods. Besides the food the team brings there is usually a group selling food there. This is a great first race because it is not to far away and the day tends to end a little earlier then some of the other events. Also for parents the Albany Pump Station is a short drive away if you are looking for lunch before driving home.
