S. New England Jr. Regional Championships

Sunday Oct. 9 in Worcester, MA
Bus Leaves at 6:30 a.m.

New York teams are not invited. This event was overly booked in 2015. 

Race Start Times for Sunday:
Men’s 8 10 am
Womens Jr 4 Novice 10:50
Womens Jr Varsity 12:15 pm
Mens Varsity 4 12:50 pm
Men’s 2nd Varsity 1:00 pm

The bus will leave the LMMHS parking lot promptly at 6:30am.  Do not be late or the bus will leave without you.

Travel time to Worcester is about 1 hour 30 minutes. The day will probably last as long as Spartan Sweeps (now Mohawk Fall Regatta) with the last racers done by 2:00 p.m. We will need breakfast and lunch with a mix of baked goods, snacky stuff, fruit and hot items.  Thank you all for the great food on the Mohawk.  The grill will again be available. Food sign-up is below:

Clothes: Rowers should have a dry set of clothes to change into after rowing.  They should also have enough warm clothes because it may be cold –hats, gloves but also SUNSCREEN.

This regatta is hosted By Lake Quinsigamond Community Rowing & Shrewsbury High School Crew. The event is on the lake and open to all junior and high school programs within New England. New England is defined as the following states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut.
